See how a woman give birth to identical triplets but 2 of them are conjoined

A woman in Texas, gave birth to 3 identical baby girls. Now, the woman and her husband spoke about their ordeal since learning that two of their triplet girls are conjoined at the pelvis.

Raul Torres and Silvia Hernandez of Brownsville, were worried after learning that two of their girls were conjoined at the pelvis.

Hernandez was monitored at the hospital before giving birth via Cesarean section. The babies who were born minutes apart, all weighed 4 pounds and 11 ounces.

Dr. Haroon Patel, a pediatric surgeon at Driscoll Children's Hospital in Corpus Christi, said that it will likely be at least six months to 1 year before the conjoined babies can be separated.

The babies who were named Catalina, Ximena, and Scarlett, are all doing good and are breathing on their own.

Doctor Patel said that sisters Ximena and Scarlett, who are conjoined, will have to get “bigger and stronger” before undergoing separation surgery.

The triplets were born through Cesarean section around 34 weeks into the pregnancy. A normal pregnancy is about 41 weeks.

Hernandez and her husband also have a 2-year-old child together.
