Nigerian Yoruba actress, Victoria Olawatoyin Adegbola popularly known as 'Asewo to re Mecca;' a name derived from a movie she was cast in recently rolled out the drums to celebrate 30 years on stage and has described her career as one filled with fulfillment.
The actress is one of the few Nigerian actresses with Chieftaincy titles and is presently the Yeye Oge of Gbagi land, Yeyeluwa and Yeye Bobajiroro of Iganna land in Oyo State.
She became prominent after she earned the alias 'Ajoke Asewo To re Mecca;' which incidentally, was the title of the movie that shot her into the limelight.
As a widow, the actress raised her 3 children by herself and they are currently resident in the UK.
