Man Stabs his girlfriend to death, after she caught him sucking her sister’s breast

A 40-year-old man identified only as James has stabbed his girlfriend, Rita to death over a domestic quarrel bordering on alleged incestuous acts.
Trouble started when James was caught sucking the bosom of Rita’s sister, Juliet at their White House road residence, Agudama- Epie.

Juliet, a nursing mother, had paid a visit to her sister at her residence and at night when she fell asleep, James allegedly crawled up and started sucking her bosom.

Juliet was woken up by this and immediately raised the alarm waking up her sister and some neighbours. Due to the degree of perversion, Rita could not cope with the embarrassment and she decided to end her relationship with James.

The incident, it was learnt, took place on Thursday in the Agudama suburb of Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

The suspect was said to have attempted suicide after allegedly murdering the lover identified as Rita Abalorun, aged 35.

The tragic incident, which occurred at the lovers’ residence at Agudama was said to have caused pandemonium among residents of the area.

Eyewitnesses said the killer-boyfriend, after stabbing the deceased, attempted to salvage the situation by rushing the dying lover to the hospital.

The eyewitness, who gave his name simply as Joshua, said, “James on realising the enormity of his action, hurriedly arranged a commercial tricycle operator to convey the deceased to the hospital.

“Instead of rushing the victim to the hospital as instructed, the Keke operator diverted her to the Akenfa Police Station and reported the case. It was at the station they confirmed her dead.”

Amidst the confusion, it was furrher gathered that the suspected killer boyfriend, escaped but was apprehended few metres away while hiding in a bush.

On close check, security operatives and angry residents discovered that James had attempted to commit suicide by swallowing a dangerous insecticide, Sniper.

The Bayelsa State Police Public Relations Officer, Asinim Butswat, confirmed the incident.

Butswat said the remains of the deceased had been deposited at the mortuary of the Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa.

He also said the suspect was receiving treatment at the same hospital under police watch.
