According to Washingtontimes an online petition asking the Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, England, to drop Kanye West as a headlining act has surpassed 63,000 signatures in three days.

“Lets prevent this musical injustice now!” the petition reads. “Kanye West is an insult to music fans all over the world. We spend hundreds of pounds to attend glasto, and by doing so, expect a certain level of entertainment.”

Mr. West is signed to headline the festival on Saturday, June 27. The Foo Fighters will headline Friday night, and Lionel Richie is the only other confirmed act, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The petition, created by Neil Lonsdale, of King’s Lynn, goes on to say Mr. West’s prime-time spot in the festival lineup should be passed on to “someone deserving.” In a petition update, Mr. Lonsdale calls Mr. West an “egotistical, maniacal, disgrace.”

One signee, Ben Sutton, wrote: “He believes his career [is] some sort of public service. Saying he is like a soldier. As a soldier that was my last straw. He is egotistical, stupid, unthoughtful and a disastrous muscian [sic]. He is the scum at top of the ladder.”

“I’m signing because I think Kanye West headlining Glasto is outrageous,” wrote Liam Bignold, another signee. “The man has no morals and has no talent.”
