Over 3, 000 members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) under the aegis of Justice group, on Wednesday defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos, reports Nigeria dailynews.
The group was led by Chief David Abidakun, who explained that they are leaving the APC in Lagos and the south west, further said “We are not counting the number of people here as over 70, 000 of our members in the South West are set to join the PDP in our various states in the South West after the formal ceremony."

He said “We believe that the PDP is a place to be and so we have decided to be part of the winning team.
Receiving the decampees, the Lagos State deputy chairman of the party, Chief Sikiru Apena, promised them fair and same chances with existing members of the party.
Also at the event were Chieftains of PDP party and it’s Lagos State governorship candidate, Mr Jimi Agbaje.
