The Defence Headquarters (DHQ), has announced the total liberation of all territories hitherto held by Boko Haram in Adamawa State, with the success recorded in Madagali, which it noted, was the last of the territories held by the insurgents, reports newtelegraph.
The Director of Defence Information (DDI), Major General Chris Olukolade, made the disclosure on DHQ’s twitter handle today, Thursday.
“Troops today succeeded in clearing terrorists out of Madagali, the last of places held by the terrorists in Adamawa.“There were no casualties on the side of our Armed Forces. Mopping up is ongoing,” the DDI said.
