Manchester United are not giving up hopes of signing Real Madrid forward, Gareth Bale as they are believed to have put aside about £120m to sign the former Tottenham player.
The 24-year old Welshman this week refuted claims that he would be joining United, insisting that he will remain at Real Madrid.
Also on the radar of Manchester United is Roma midfielder, Radja Nainggolan as they look to improve on their midfield options .
Meanwhile, Manchester City are watching proceedings also inside of Real Madrid for Portugal international, Pepe who might be on his way out of the club when the season folds up this summer.
The offensive-defender has traded his first-team opportunities taken in 2014-15 by the emergence of Raphael Varane, who Jose Mourinho is looking desperately to sign to improve on Chelsea's back line.
Manchester City have also informed Cristiano Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes that they would be interested in signing the three-time Ballon d'Or award winner if he chooses to return to the English Premiership side.
