Black November, a Movie About Niger Delta's Plight Hit Cinemas in the US

Black November, a Hollywood/Nollywood movie, by popular film director and producer, Jeta Amata, is set to be screened in cinemas in the United States from January 9, 2014. The movie, features Senegalese-born American artiste Akon, and Wyclef Jean.

The storyline of the movie depicts the plights of Nigerians living in the Niger-Delta region, and their attempts to stop multi-national petroleum corporations and the government from massive environmental pollution.

Black November was first premiered on May 8, 2012, at the Kennedy Center in the US, and was later screened during a United Nations General Assembly on September 26, 2012.
