Trouble In Lekki As Hausas And Yorubas Engage In Bloody Battle

                              
Reports coming in says a riot broke out this today in Durosinmi Eti Axis of Lekki Phase 1 in Lagos between Hausa commercial motorcyclists and Yoruba shuttle bus drivers.

An eye witnesses claimed that the Riot occurred this today as a result of an attack carried out by Hausa commercial motorcyclists on Yoruba bus drivers who drive some of the estate’s shuttle buses yesterday.
It all started yesterday when the Hausa Okada riders attacked the bus drivers, they shattered the windows of their buses and injured a few bus drivers. This morning, the drivers with the help of some men caught some of these okada riders and beat them to a pulp”.

The reprisal attack was said to have led to the burning of several motorbikes.

‘They can’t come here and attack us, we will find you and kill you’, one of the rioters was quoted to have said.
