At least 20 persons have been killed in a suicide attack in Potiskum, Yobe state. According to PREMIUM TIMES, the suicide bomber specifically targeted members of the Shiite group, Islamic Brotherhood of Nigeria.
The bombing took place at Faydia Islamic school, ran by the Shiite. The school is located near the old market in Potiskum. The suicide bomber struck when members of the Shiite were gathering to go on a procession to mark the Ashura day.
Nigerian military sources are yet to issue any comment on this latest bomb blast.
