Arsenal fan arrested for throwing red wine at United bench during Gunners’ defeat to man u at home

                            Arsenal have confirmed that a fan has been arrested, for allegedly throwing red wine in the direction of Manchester United’s bench, after Kieran Gibbs deflected Antonio Valencia’s effort to give the visitors a 1-0 lead.
Wayne Rooney doubled United’s lead later in the second half, before Olivier Giroud pulled a goal back in injury time. The win moved Louis van Gaal’s men back into the top four.

A male was arrested at the stadium for throwing an object towards the Manchester United bench after the first Manchester United goal, an Arsenal spokesman said.

There will be full co-operation between Arsenal and the Met Police – we do not tolerate anti-social behaviour. If found guilty, individual will also be banned by club.
