Another APC secretariat bombed in Rivers state

 Another Secretariat belonging to the All Progressive Congress, APC in Ngo community, Andoni LGA of Rivers state has been bombed. According to reports, the incident which occured at about 3:14am, destroyed the secretariat.

The Ward 1 Chairman of APC in the area, Mr. Amos Gogo Amos, said the attack on the secretariat was similar to the attack on the Party’s Secretariat in Okrika LGA of the state. Amos said, “We are calling on the government to come to our aid as we are no longer safe in the community. Anything can happen in the night.

The building was badly damaged.” The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Andoni Local Government Area, Mr. Ikwut Emmanuel, who also spoke on the attack, said he received a distress call that the secretariat had been attacked by some unknown persons. He called on the state Commissioner of Police, Mr Dan Bature to look into the case and arrest all those involved in the attack.

When contacted, the police spokesperson, Mr. Ahmad Mohammad, confirmed the incident, but said details on the attack was still sketchy.
