Yves Berthelot died after being bitten in the arm, groin and leg. Despite the best efforts of the group who were mostly health professionals, nothing could be done to save Yves Berthelot.
Most of the people on board were health workers, and they gave first aid to the wounded man, but the injuries were so severe that unfortunately, there was not much that could be done to save his life.
Anne Berthelot posted a tribute on Facebook saying: “I've lost the man of my life tonight.”
