Rivers APC set to adopt President Jonathan for reelection.

 There are strong indications that the governorship candidate of the APC; Hon. Dakuku Peterside may direct the newly "reappointed" local government caretaker chairmen and the APC, to work for the reelection of President Jonathan in the forthcoming elections.

This strategy became necessary as Hon. Dakuku and the APC have been advised by virtually all the traditional rulers in Rivers state to work for President Jonathan's reelection.

A traditional ruler and staunch supporter of Hon. Dakuku made this revelation to our correspondent. The traditional ruler said, " When Dakuku consulted us, we told him clearly, that the task before us is not who occupies Brick House, but the Presidency.

If Ohaneze Ndigbo, Arewa, and the Yoruba chiefs and elders, Imams and Emirs have all said yes, and are committed to Jonathan's reelection. We definitely CAN'T be the ones to say no. Good enough, Jonathan's election is coming first. So let's ensure his reelection, then we can now sit down to decide who takes Brick House. And I'm happy he ( Dakuku ) has decided to implement our advice ".

It was also reported that Senator Magnus Abe, who is still recovering from the Rotimi influenza had already adopted this strategy in his recent campaigns; where he thanked President Jonathan for yielding to the voice of the Ogonis to implement the UNEP report. A call by the Ogoni's to the federal government, that has been neglected by past governments including President Obasanjo and late Yaradua.

The Senator also affirmed that the President has shown that he is indeed a sincere leader that means well for Nigeria. Rattled, downcast, despondent, confused and unsettled have been the disposition of Gov. Amaechi since he learnt of this development
