New African Champions: Ivory Coast beat Ghana to win 2015 Nations Cup title

 Cote D'Ivoire just beat Ghana in a penalty shoot-out to win the 2015 African Cup of Nations 2015. Big congrats to them... 

The Elephants of Ivory Coast on Sunday ended a 23-year wait to win the 2015 African Nations Cup title in Equatorial Guinea, beating Ghana 9-8 after penalty shootout.

Just like in 1992 when these two teams met in the final of the Nations Cup in Senegal, penalties were needed on the night before Ivory Coast saw off Ghana in a pulsating encounter.
