Video: Imo Police Defuse Bomb At Popular Eatery In Owerri

          
It was a close one in Owerri, in Imo state as IEDs were found and defused by the Police command before damage could happen. According to Channels' report, the explosive components were found in two separate places in a resuatrant lobby in Ikenegbu area.

Aldulmajid Ali, Imo state Commissioner of Police, says that the command received a distress call at about 9:30pm on Wednesday from the eatery management, and the police bomb squad went to check it out. After a few hours of checking, the explosive was defused successfully.

No arrests have been made but investigation is underway. This will be the second report of defused explosives in the Imo metropolis in 2014.
