British born Nigerian Hollywood actor, David Oyetokunbo Oyelowo has been nominated for Best Actor Drama, at the 72nd Annual Golden Globes Awards.
The actor who featured in “The Rise of the Planet of the Apes” in 2011 was nominated for his role in Selma, a film directed by Ava Duvernay.
Duvernay who is also on the nomination list for Best Director is one of the co-writers of Selma – a movie about Dr. Martin Luther King and the civil rights movements in Selma, Alabama. (For more story on the nomination visit www.nigerianbulletin.com)
